With Shahr Khodro, we managed to reach the Asian Champions League in our first participation and close the championship.
We made a first preliminary qualifying for the Champion League by beating Bahrian champions Al-Riffa Sports Club 2-1.
Then we beat Al-Sailiya Sports Club of Qatar away on penalty kicks and that gave us access for the Champion League Group Stage where we had the honor of facing Al - Hilal of Saudi Arabia who had won the Champion League two months earlier.
Unfortunately, then Covid suspended the competitions in March and we resumed everything in June and at the end of August.
We finished the league in 5th position and the Champion League was blocked and postponed until late September.
Unfortunately I stopped working with the Society at the end of September because of financial difficulties, however, it was a job well done.
