With South Sudan we played a double playoff in late February and early March.
The first game against Djibouti we won 4-2 (the game was played in Egypt) and in the return game we won 1-0 (this time it was played in Kampala, Uganda).
So this double win was the biggest in the history of South Sudan, with 4 goals scored away from home, and the first time the country won two matches in official competitions.
So now we are engaged in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in which we are in the group together with Mali, Gambia and Congo Brazzaville (with whom I worked in 2007 and 2008).
I am happy with the work that is being done that is mainly focusing on a strong group of local players who make up almost 50 percent of the team and on many other players who play in the African leagues between Uganda and Zambia.
We have very few players who play outside and the national team is still growing well because of the unconditional support of the Federation President.
